Our team hit Puerto Banús to celebrate the season — vintage Land Rover, a morning on the boat, and a long lunch at LaLaLa on the harbour. Spring here means golden light, empty beaches, and restaurant terraces you can actually enjoy. We shared plates, watched the yachts drift by, and remembered exactly why we chose to live and work on this coast. Summer's just around the corner — and if you're thinking about making the move, now's the time to come see it for yourself.

Spring is here. And on the Costa del Sol, that means something specific: longer days, warm light, outdoor lunches that stretch into the evening, and that unmistakable feeling that summer is just around the corner.
We decided to mark the season the best way we know how. A team day out in Puerto Banús.

The Day
It started with the whole team piling onto our vintage Land Rover. If you've seen us around Marbella, you might have spotted it. A proper old-school classic that turns heads wherever it goes. It's become part of the Konrad identity at this point.

From there, we headed to the harbour. Puerto Banús in spring is something else. The crowds haven't arrived yet, the weather is perfect, and the port has that calm, golden-hour quality that disappears once peak season kicks in. We spent the morning out on a boat, soaking in the views across the harbour. The Sierra Blanca mountains behind us, the Mediterranean ahead.

There's a moment you get out on the water in Puerto Banús, looking back at the coastline, where the whole region just clicks. It's the reason most of our clients fall in love with this place. Not the brochures. The real thing.

Lunch at LaLaLa
For lunch, we walked over to LaLaLa Puerto Banús, a Mediterranean restaurant right on the Muelle Levante, first line of the harbour.

If you haven't been, it's worth knowing about. LaLaLa sits directly on the waterfront with views over the yachts and out to sea. The menu is classic Mediterranean: fresh seafood, grilled meats, pasta, tapas. And they do it well. It's part of the Grupo Gaucho family, and the quality shows.
What we liked most: the terrace. You're sitting right on the port, watching boats come and go, with the afternoon sun keeping everything warm. The food arrived steadily. Shared plates, cocktails, good conversation. The kind of lunch where nobody checks the time.
They're open daily from 9am to 11pm, so it works for everything from morning coffee to sunset drinks. Live music some evenings, too.
It's the kind of place we recommend to clients who are visiting the area for property viewings. After a morning looking at homes, a long lunch on the harbour puts the whole lifestyle into perspective.

Why This Matters
We write a lot about properties, markets, and the buying process. But we also think it's important to show what life here actually looks like. Not in a marketing sense, but in a real one.
This is a team that lives on the Costa del Sol. We chose to be here. And days like this remind us why.
Spring is our favourite time of year. The weather is warm but not hot. The beaches are quiet. The restaurants are relaxed. You can actually get a table at your favourite spot without booking two weeks ahead.
And it's a preview of summer, which is now just weeks away.

Summer Is Coming
The Costa del Sol summer season is one of the best in Europe. Beach clubs open up, the events calendar fills in, and the energy along the coast changes completely.
If you've been thinking about buying a property here, spring and early summer is the time many of our clients come out to explore. The weather is representative of what you'll get most of the year, and you get to experience the lifestyle without the August crowds.
We're here, we're ready, and we're in a very good mood after a day like this one.
Get in touch if you'd like to talk about finding your place on the Costa del Sol.
